In the Zambezi River, where tales unfold,

Of crocodiles dangerous, fearless, and bold,

Yet, another narrative, waiting to be told,

A secret harbored, a story of hatred untold.


These crocs in the waters, their kingdom and throne,

Roam carefreely, making Zambezi their own,

But in the eyes of deceit, they've often shown,

A shadowy presence, fear they've overthrown.



I pondered and wondered, what could it mean?

These creatures emerge, an enigmatic scene,

In their territory, that's certain, it's keen,

But the crooks' motives, a riddle unforeseen.


These crocodiles, they possess a mystic charm,

In Zambezi's heart, where they do no harm,

In their world, wild and warm,

Secrets reside, in the mind's calm.


I've heard their tales, a cryptic song,

In Zambezi's wilderness, where they belong,

For in the realm of crocodiles, wild and strong,

Lies an untold story, like a lifelong throng.
