Consistency is the key to success

Consistency is the key to success

Consistency creates habits, the habits reflect the actions and the actions give the results.

let's understand in this manner. If you want results you need to act.
If you want to be in action it should be your habit, and how action becomes a  habit, that action should be performed consistently. So either way, you need to be consistent.
So now the real problem is how to be consistent.
because consistency is not a skill to practice its a trait, a quality to acquire.
in the journey of success, you have initiated a task by acquiring will power it might have come from need or competition, and by learning new things to achieve your goal the next trait is consistency.
some of few tips to acquire that trait is
 1. replicate :
To be consistent, you have to replicate the task or you need to perform day after day until it defines you. until it completes you., copy the things until you own that thing as a habit of your own.
let's take an example you want to cook a dish. let us say chicken curry Andhra style.
How you are going to cook. Nowadays we have the technology to learn anything online .so let's learn from a youtube channel which shows how to cook a chicken curry Andhra style.
you follow each and every step in the video .first, you note down the ingredients required for how much quantity you want to cook accordingly and start cooking dish and try to replicate how the dish is shown in the video. Don't worry if you cannot replicate exactly for the first time, I think most of you had this experience at your home and because you failed for the first and you never try again. But if you try for three or four times you will be successful in replicating the exact dish. that is how it goes you own the thing until it becomes a habit and absorbs into you.so the first tip is you need to replicate the things.
2. PPP:
Perceive, Practice, and be Proficient.
Perceive from the experts, practice from teachers, and become proficient with the help of mentors.
learn the things from seeing the experts in the relevant fields. and then practice under the guidance of a teacher or a coach and become an expert with the help of a mentor.
if you want to learn a game or a sport let us take chess. how do you learn? first, you perceive the things observe the things, and learn the basics of how to proceed further.
then you approach a teacher or a coach to learn the tips and tricks and learning the complete game to play.
and the third step is now you know how to play with some basic strategies, now you need to improve yourself, and to be an expert here you need a mentor with expertise that motivates and corrects your minute mistakes to reach towards excellence in the game.
3. Piecemeal approach:
you need to follow the piecemeal approach, the word itself explains to you how to plan and complete your task.
Make your bigger task into small pieces and complete piece by piece. whenever you complete each and every piece you ensure the performance getting increases day by day, focusing on the incremental improvement is very much important.
for example, you are a student you want to read your academic textbook it consists so many chapters, so you start reading from chapter 1 and 2 and 3 by reading each chapter you are adding additional information which helps to understand the next chapter .in that way add small additional information for each and every step you move till reach to your destination. or your goal.
4. Emotional balance
Acquiring a trait like consistency, you need to be emotionally balanced which we call it attitude.
the way you respond to a particular thing or a situation.
you should not react emotionally or even physically for any negative comments or negative situations that instigate or pulling you back always from what you want to achieve. So you always keep you mental state focusing on your goal. no, matter what has happened, no matter what challenges you need to face. You always focus on the goal you want to achieve. Because how you feel which dictates how you react.
let me give a beautiful example not to react which disturbs your focus.
the way you react if somebody has scolded you in your mother tongue and the way you react if somebody has scolded in the language that you don't understand at all.the intention of the other person is the same in both the languages but the reaction varies because your mind's reaction varied. So its a very simple mind game to control your emotions.
so these are the important things you need to follow to become consistent which is a key parameter to get success
whatever you are doing make it a habit whatever you think keeps it in action to achieve whatever you want to achieve.
good luck and thank you.
